Community Grants

In the United States and Puerto Rico, we invest in strengthening the communities where Amgen staff members live and work.

Program Overview

Each year, we award grants to nonprofit organizations that are making a lasting and meaningful impact in Amgen communities. Key funding priorities include addressing an unmet need, reaching underserved communities and programming that is helping build the capacity of local organizations.

While nearly all of these grants are made by invitation, we consider a small number of unsolicited requests for local programs, which align with our strategy of strengthening science education.
